Ordering - M Sotherden Art Glass
Ordering Panel Windows
Once you have an idea of what design or iconography you would like, there are a couple of choices that you need to make before placing your order.
Color Scheme
When ordering, please include your preferred overall color scheme. I will select the glass that best complements your color preference, and I will email you photos of the overall glass palette before beginning to build your piece.
Since stained glass is made from sheets of glass (which are also handmade) please understand that sometimes colors vary a bit - like dye lots in yarn, and can vary from sheet to sheet especially when there is more than one color involved, so while photos and such can help give you an "idea" of what your panel will look like, slight color variations (such as in the purple and pink border in the cow piece above) are totally normal within the art form, and actually serve to enhance the piece overall.
Etched Design Color
If the piece you are ordering has one or more etched glass elements, the palette of colors available is a bit limited, and my availability can vary from month to month depending on what *I* can get my hands on. This is one of the things I discuss with each and every customer before I make your piece.
Placing the Order
Please email your order to MSotherdenArtGlass@gmail.com or order by phone at 724.452.7932 If you email the studio, please put something relevant in the subject line so I will not mistake your email for spam.
