This clay covered ID badge clip features a central dichroic glass gem in emerald green surrounded by a stylized rainbow flower. Dichroic glass is a neat type of color-shifting glass originally invented by NASA. It’s tough to photograph well, but if you look at the second photo I have tried to capture the purplish shift of the dichroic.
These badges also feature a retractable reel, perfect for keycard doors and cash registers. I’ve made them out of a special type of clay that can be gently sanitized, which I mention for folks who work in medical fields. Lastly, the alligator clip may make this clip stay better than some other varieties.
