These treasure tins are a new addition to my studio; I'm trying to create art out of more found objects not only because they're fun to make, but also because I'm aware of my environmental impact as a glass artist and these are upcycling at it's best. Each tin in this series is a one-of-a-kind item, but the base of each is a standard sized Altoid tin. (They measure roughly 2.375" wide x 3.75" long, and start out at just under 1" deep, although the clay art and the feet make the height variable).
This tin includes three turquoise, orange and brown striped glass cabochons which were all made in my glass studio. The feet are made from tiny globs made from matching glass scrap.
